Abstract (en)
The transfer device (18) is positioned between a first (16) and second enclosure (19) for the treatment of steel products initially arranged on some fixed stringers (23). It has a chassis fitted with an assembly made up by the juxtapositioning of several moving stringers (24) and possibly several rollers (30), these being positioned between the enclosures and at the end of a transfer line (20) for the steel products (2). The moving stringers (24) cooperate simultaneously with a lifting/lowering chassis (25) and with a translation chassis (26). These chassis allow the stringers to describe a rectangular pass consisting of four elements:- a) a lifting movement; b) a forward translation; c) a lowering movement; and d) a backward translation. An installation for the metallurgical treatment of steel products incorporating this device is also claimed.

Dispositif de transfert (18) positionné entre une première enceinte (16) et une deuxième enceinte (19) de traitement métallurgique de produits sidérurgiques (1, 2) initialement disposés sur des longerons fixes (23), caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un châssis muni d'un assemblage constitué par la juxtaposition d'une pluralité de longerons mobiles (24) et éventuellement d'une pluralité de rouleaux (30), ceux-ci étant positionnés entre la première enceinte (16) de traitement et la deuxième enceinte (19) de traitement, et à l'extrémité d'une ligne de transfert (20) des produits sidérurgiques (2), lesdits longerons mobiles (24) coopérant à la fois avec un châssis (25) de levage/dépose et avec un châssis de translation (26) avant/arrière, lesdits châssis (25, 26) permettant de faire décrire un mouvement de pas rectangulaire aux longerons mobiles (24), de manière à assurer, le transfert des produits sidérurgiques (1, 2) entre la première et la seconde enceinte, ou le transfert des produits entre la ligne de transfert (20) et la première enceinte (16) ou entre la ligne de transfert (20) et la seconde enceinte (19). <IMAGE>
