Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9737411A1] A device for stripping outer coatings from cables comprises a cutting edge movable so as to impinge on a portion of cable to be stripped. The portion of cable to be stripped is restrained by two surfaces adjacent the portion to facilitate the cutting of a section of the cable parallel to its longitudinal axis without damaging the inner element of the cable.
