[origin: EP0896806A2] The wall hook assembly has a one-piece hook body (1) and a one-piece base plate (21) and a one-piece hinge (31). The base plate (21) and hinge (31) are linked together by a hinge (24,32). The hinge unit (31) and the hook body (1) are linked together by a hinge (34). In the basic position, the hook body (1) is anchored to the base plate (21) so that the base plate (21) and hinge (31) cover the mounting adhesive strip(s) (4). The hook body (1) can be lifted up on the hinge (31) and given a sliding movement parallel to the base plate (21) to give access to the non-adhesive strip grip tab. The hook body and/or base plate are of metal or plastics, and pref. polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
