[origin: EP0896915A1] The setting device includes a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit (10-22) connected to connecting elements such as pushrods. The device includes a double-action cylinder (24) with a fixed piston rod (22), along which the cylinder can move to a lockable end position. There is a surrounding sector (76) which can be moved relative to the cylinder. It is carried along by the cylinder and is connected to the connecting element. When the cylinder is moved from its end position, the sector moves with it with a time lag.
