[origin: WO9742380A1] Window system comprising a number of interconnected, elongated metal window sections which form a frame and at least one pane (4) placed in the frame. Each window section comprises at least two sections (1, 2) interconnected by means of at least one plastic connecting piece (3). A first base section (1) is provided with a flange (6) situated opposite a first side of the pane (4) and a body (5) extending crosswise to the pane (4) and extending past the pane (4), and by means of which the connecting piece (3) can be connected detachably. The second cover strip section (2) which can be connected to the connecting piece (3) is provided with a flange (12) situated opposite the second side of the pane (4).
