Abstract (en)

The box (1) is especially for cosmetic preparations. A lid (7) is hinged to the bottom portion (2) of the box in such a way that the lid may be completely detached from the bottom of the box. The box and lid may be circular with the compartment (6) in the box containing the cosmetic being circular, but slightly off-centre. A circular rib on the lid snaps into engagement with the rim at the top of the side of the compartment in the box. The hinge mechanism is accommodated in the thickest part of the rim, in the space between the compartment and the outer skin of the box and lid assembly. The hinge mechanism has two pins, e.g. on the lid, fitting into two eyes, e.g. on the box.

L'invention concerne un boîtier (1) comprenant : un fond (2) pourvu d'une paroi cylindrique (4) autour d'un axe (5), un couvercle (7) pourvu d'une paroi cylindrique (9), entourant la paroi (4), des parties de charnière autour d'un axe (12). Suivant l'invention, le boîtier peut se trouver dans une position d'engagement, intermédiaire entre une position d'ouverture totale et une position de fermeture verrouillée. En position de fermeture verrouillée, le compartiment (6) est rendu étanche par une lèvre (21) autojointante du couvercle (7). Le passage à la position intermédiaire s'effectue par rotation autour de l'axe (5) suivant des organes de guidage, la lèvre étant désengagée. <IMAGE>
