Abstract (en)
A new method is used for drying plastics sheeting printed with metallic and non-metallic colours. Metallic ink is first printed, especially gravure-printed gold ink. The sheet (2) is dried, i.e. ink is hardened by ultraviolet radiation. A non-metallic colour is then printed, flame-dried and cooled. The band is lacquered, finally being hot air-dried and cooled. The equipment is also claimed. This includes metallic (6) and non-metallic (8,10) printing stations. Following the final printing station (10), flame drying equipment (12,14) include a gas nozzle (12) on the printed side. The cooling station (16-17a) follows, then the lacquering station (18). Finally there are hot air drying- and cooling stations (20,21).

Bei einem Verfahren zum Trocknen von mit metallhaltigen und nicht metallhaltigen Farben bedruckter Kunststoff-Folienbahnen werden folgende Schritte ausgeführt: Bedrucken einer Folienbahn mit einer metallhaltigen Farbe, insbesondere Goldfarbe im Tiefdruck; Trocknen der Folienbahn mit UV-Strahlung; Bedrucken der Folienbahn mit einer nicht metallhaltigen Farbe; Flammtrocknen der Folienbahn auf ihrer bedruckten Oberfläche; Kühlen der Folienbahn; Lackieren der Folienbahn; Heißluft-Trocknen der Foliebahn ; und Kühlen der Folienbahn.
