Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0897890A2] A mechanical handling process to progressively changes the orientation of a stream of printed products e.g. magazines (29) as the flow towards a folding machine (27). The conveyor belt has a series of product catchers arranged in an endless configuration, and hooking to the print signature. The catchers may pivot (20) under load as the conveyor belt advances, such that the print signature advances to the leading corner. The catchers can be selectively prevented from pivoting to create a secondary product flow.
