[origin: EP0897967A2] Waste gasifier is claimed, in which single-stage gasification is carried out in a chamber (1) with a rotary liquid slag bath (2). Preferably, the excess slag and cracked gas are removed through the slag drain (6). This projects above the bath, its side opening draining the slag. The slag bath and/or waste is set in rotation by tangential gasification agent introduction. Some lump waste is fed to the burner (9), together with recycled cracked gas, acting as a carrier gas. Waste up to 5 mm diameter is introduced above the slag, formed into a jet directed onto the upper surface.
