[origin: EP0898025A1] The device consists of a float and a first hydraulic or pneumatic power source, which has a positioning member controllable by the float. The positioning member is effectively connected with the mechanism. The float (28) on raising the positioning member (16) or the first power source (15) actuates the mechanism (5) against a set-back force when the positioning member (16) of the first power source (15) is raised. The float (28) when the positioning member (16) is lowered is uncoupled from the first power source (15). In the connection (11,13) between the two power sources (9,15) a valve (12) is arranged, which is controlled by the float or a further float for moving the positioning member of the first power source.
