[origin: WO9719614A2] The invention relates to a body-mountable container, such as a rucksack, school satchel or a shoulder bag. Said container has a side facing the carrier and provided with a distance mounting which provides a layer, ventilated at the rear, between the carrier and the container and improves carrying comfort in that accumulation of heat and the unpleasant attendants thereof are avoided. Said distance mounting comprises a support member (2, 3) and elevations projecting perpendicularly thereto in the form of protuberances (8) or solid projections. The elevations are preferably arranged in the form of a grid.
