The person operating the lock is clearly informed of the change between the open and closed positions, which are firmly held by the facts that the hub (4) or a bearing section (4') in the housing has at least two flat bearing surfaces (4a, 4b) perpendicular to the housing base, where one bearing surface (4a) is parallel to a narrow side wall (2.1) of the housing (2) in the open position and the other (4b) in the closed position, and that the bearing surfaces (4a, 4b) in the open and closed positions bear in turn on a counter-bearing surface (6.2) of a tumbler (6) spring-loaded against the inside of the narrow side wall (2.1).
