[origin: EP0898923A1] The nozzle has a nozzle housing (1), a suction air channel (2) in the housing and a slide plate (3) connected to the housing with a suction opening (4) bounded by opening edges (5,5'). The channel opens into a suction chamber (6) extending transversely over the breadth of the slide plate and connected to the suction opening. The suction chamber channel width (B) measured in the working direction is greater than the opening width (a) between the opening edges.
