[origin: EP0899177A1] The brake shoe transposition device includes carrier brackets (2, 2') for the brake block shoes (4, 4') and mounting journals (6, 6') able to be moved in a hollow brake triangle (8). The journals are connected by a locking crankshaft (17) inside the triangle and can be forced into their end positions by locking springs (19, 19'). The suspension of the shoes from the wagon box, depending on the travelling track, is achieved by hanging brake shoe suspension bars with ball bolts, or by movement on the bolt and carriers n the brake shoe.
