[origin: EP0899634A1] The submersible article such as a wristwatch (1) has a microphone (11) mounted in the lower casing. The microphone is made watertight by a deformable membrane (18) mounted between rings (16,17) and prevented from excessive movement by the perforated bottom (12a,13) of the microphone compartment (12). Slow pressure equalisation for gases only is provided (23).
