The cap has a contact pressure zone (4) for a sealing washer (2), between the cap base (1) and the thread (3) next to the base. The pressure zone decreases in size conically and axially towards the cap base. The sealing washer has a circumferential edge bead (2a), and during closing, the bead engages at least partially on the contact pressure zone and the bottle mouth (11). The Shore hardness of the sealing washer material is approx. 60 -90, pref. 75 - 80 Shore A.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schraubverschlußkappe aus Kunststoffmaterial zum Verschließen von Behältern, insbesondere für Flaschen mit originalabgefüllten Getränken, deren Mündungsbereich 11 in seiner öffnungsnahen Zone zum Verschließen ein Außengewinde 10 aufweist, wobei in den Kappenboden 1 eine separat aus Kunststoff hergestellte Dichtscheibe 2 eingelegt ist. Dabei weist die Schraubverschlußkappe eine umlaufende, zwischen dem Kappenboden 1 und dem Kappenboden-nächsten Gang 3 des Innengewindes angeordnete, sich bezüglich des Kappendurchmessers axial zum Kappenboden 1 hin konisch verjüngende Anpreßzone 4 für die Dichtscheibe 2 auf. Bei der Dichtscheibe 2 ist eine an ihrem Rand ringförmig umlaufende, wulstartige Verdickung 2a vorgesehen, die sich beim Verschließen zumindest teilweise an die Anpreßzone 4 und die Behältermündung 11 anlegt. <IMAGE>
