Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0900745A1] The container has a lid and a seal ring (5) which is flat prior to fitting. The container's upper rim (2) and the peripheral edge of the lid have a series of annular projections (8,9,11-13) which face towards the seal and squeeze it locally and prevent it from slipping. The peripheral edge of the lid has a concave recess (7) in its underside with two edge projections (8,9) and a central projection (13), while the container rim has a convex cross-section (10) and two annular projections (11,12) which fit between those of the lid. The projections are rounded in section, with a radius of curvature of 0.3-0.5 mm.
