Pourable material is put in a gusseted bag of flexible material in which the bag front and rear walls are joined together or with the adjacent halves of the gussets (7,8) at the upper edge (3). To form an opening for pouring the contents out of one of the two gussets a handle (16) at the top of the bag, associated with one of the inner fold edges, can be pulled to release the seam between the front and rear walls and the adjacent gusset halves (7a,7b). The opening is closed again using two triangular corner tips (19,20) on either side of the inner fold edge (12) formed from the front and rear walls and the adjacent gusset halves, which can be folded outwards along a diagonal line (21,22).

Bei einem Seitenfaltenbeutel oder -sack aus flexiblem Material für schüttfähiges Füllgut sind entlang dem oberen Rand (3) seines Kopfendes (2) die Beutelvorder- und -rückwand (5,6) innenseitig nahtförmig miteinander bzw. mit der jeweils angrenzenden Seitenfaltenhälfte verbunden. Zur Bildung einer Ausschüttöffnung (15) ist eine der Innenfaltkante (12) einer Seitenfalte (7) zugeordnete Handhabe (16) am oberen Beutelrand (3) vorgesehen, mit der die Seitenfalte (7) unter Lösen der Verbindungsnaht (13) zwischen Beutelvorder- und -rückwand (5,6) und der jeweils angrenzenden Seitenfaltenhälfte (7a,7b) herausgezogen werden kann. Zum Wiederverschließen der Ausschüttöffnung (15) werden beidseits der Innenfaltkante (12) zwei dreieckförmige Eckzipfel (19,20) von der Beutelvorder- und -rückwand (5,6) zusammen mit der jeweils angrenzenden Seitenfaltenhälfte (7a,7b) jeweils entlang einer Diagonalfaltlinie (21,22) nach außen auf die Beutelvorderwand (5) bzw. die Beutelrückwand (6) umgefaltet und lösbar auf dieser festgelegt. <IMAGE>
