[origin: EP0900749A1] The packaging for flat merchandise items (1), in a vertical stack, has a sliding tube structure (4) as the upper part which slides on a tubular lower part (3) on a circular base. A bag (5) in the lower part is secured to the bottom of the upper part. The dimensions of the bag are set so that it's bottom rests on the base when the upper part structure is fully extended.
