The fuel injection system includes a dual fuel injection nozzle (12), with a pressure chamber (11) where fuel and an addition fluid are alternating supplied. A valve arrangement, has a controllable high-pressure fuel supply to the dual fuel injection nozzle. The connection of the pressure room with a low-pressure side and with an inlet conductor (26) of the additional fluid are also controllable. The valve arrangement includes a switching valve (16) which is formed, both for the control of the supply of the pressure chamber with high or low pressure, as well as for the control of the filling of the pressure chamber with the additional fluid.

Eine Kraftstoffeinspritzanlage mit einem Injektor 10 für eine Brennkraftmaschine weist eine Zweistoffeinspritzdüse 12 auf, in deren Druckraum 11 abwechselnd Kraftstoff und eine Zusatzflüssigkeit förderbar sind. Es ist eine Ventilanordnung vorgesehen, durch die die hochdruckseitige Kraftstoffzufuhr zur Zweistoffeinspritzdüse 12 und die Verbindung des Druckraums 11 mit einer Niederdruckseite und mit einer Zuführleitung 26 der Zusatzflüssigkeit steuerbar ist. Die Ventilanordnung weist ein Umschaltventil 16 auf, das sowohl zur Ansteuerung der Beaufschlagung des Druckraums 11 mit Hoch- oder Niederdruck und als auch zur Ansteuerung der Befüllung des Druckraums 11 mit der Zusatzflüssigkeit ausgebildet ist. Daher ist die Ventilanordnung hinsichtlich schnellerer und präziserer Schaltvorgänge einerseits verbessert und andererseits vereinfacht. <IMAGE>
