Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0901200A2] The coaxial cable plug connector has a plug head (5) with a recess (51) having an annular surface (52) contacting the end of the rolled outer cable conductor, around which a contact sleeve (6) with radial spring segments (62) is fitted, the thickened ends (63) of the segments pressing the coaxial cable outer conductor against the annular surface. The recess (51) has an inner diameter at least equal to the outer diameter of the contact sleeve (6) with the thickened ends (63) of the segments (62) pressed towards the annular surface by a hollow screw (7) fitted within the contact sleeve.
