Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0901980A2] Drive pulley (4) is driven by a permanent magnet-excited synchronous motor (2) via a planetary gear unit (3). Preferably, a rotor (7) fitted with permanent magnets is fixed to a drive shaft (13) of the gear unit, the two being on common bearing in the gear unit housing.
