A planar coupled coils arrangement including a first coil (S1), in which a first conductor path section of the first coil (S1) is arranged in a first plane, and in which a conductor path section completing the first coil (S1) is arranged in a second plane, and is electrically connected by one or more connections to the first conductor path section. A second coil (S2) is used and its conductor path is completely or partly arranged in the second plane, and if the conductor path of the second coil (S2) is arranged partly in the second plane the part of the conductor path completing the second coil (S2) is arranged in the first or a third plane, and is electrically connected by one or more connections to the first conductor path section of the second coil (S2). Both coils (S1,S2) are arranged symmetrically to one another and the conductor paths of the coils are mutually arranged so that coupling takes place between the coils (S1,S2).

Zur Minimierung des Platzbedarfs und der Anzahl der Metallisierungslagen weist die erfindungsgemäße planare, gekoppelte Spulenanordnung eine erste Spule (S1) auf, bei der ein erster Leiterbahnteil in einer ersten Ebene und der die erste Spule (S1) vervollständigende Leiterbahnteil in einer zweiten Ebene angeordnet ist und durch eine oder mehrere Verbindungen mit dem ersten Leiterbahnteil elektrisch verbunden ist. Weiterhin ist eine zweite Spule (S2) vorgesehen, bei der die Leiterbahn vollständig oder zum Teil in der zweiten Ebene angeordnet ist. Falls die Leiterbahn der zweiten Spule (S2) zum Teil in der Zweiten Ebene angeordnet ist, ist der die zweite Spule (S2) vervollständigende Teil der Leiterbahn in der ersten oder einer dritten Ebene angeordnet und durch eine oder mehrere Verbindungen mit dem ersten Leiterbahnteil der zweiten Spule (S2) elektrisch verbunden. Die beiden Spulen (S1, S2) sind symmetrisch zueinander und die Leiterbahnen so angeordnet, daß eine Kopplung zwischen den Spulen (S1, S2) stattfindet. <IMAGE>
