[origin: WO9836902A1] The invention relates to a plastic foil with sealing capacity for the impervious sealing of packaging, consisting of a plastic base material and a sealing layer sticking to the base material. The plastics of the base material come from a mixture of polystyrene (PS), at least one polyolefin, one styrene-butadiene-styrene-three-block copolymer (SBS) and/or one styrene-butadiene-elastomer (SBR). The sealing layer can be an artificial resin based on ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), a styrene-butadiene-styrene-three-block copolymer (SBS), styrene-butadiene-elastomer (SBR), an acrylate-resin, a polyvinylchloride (PVC) and/or a polypropylene copolymer resin. The plastic foil with sealing capacity is suitable for use as a covering element for pots such as yoghurt pots, and as sealing foil for medicament packaging.
