[origin: EP0903075A1] The mower (1) is provided on the front beam of a vehicle and is in the form of a verge mower. At least one horizontal mower roller is provided. Cutter blades are arranged around the circumference of the roller. A main mower unit (2) is provided for the roller and has an adjacent mowing unit (3) connected to it and being pivotable about a vertical axis (7,14). A button (9) is provided for disengaging a catch (8) of a drive (12) which allows pivotal movement of the second mowing unit. The button is in the form of a rod which is pivotable on the main mower unit.
