Abstract (en)
The inline skate has a hand-operated brake unit located behind the rear wheel (20). It has a brake element (31), which is supported on the rear end of the skate boot (1) via a contact element (32), when not in use. The brake unit (30) has a forward- extending brake lever (34) and a traction element (36) fastened to the front end of the lever, which is reversible via a coupling element (35). The brake unit consisting of brake carrier (33), stop element, and brake lever consists of one piece.

Rollschuh, insbesondere Inline-Skater, mit einer Bremsvorrichtung die hinter dem letzten Rad des Rollschuhes angebracht ist. Die Bremsvorrichtung besteht aus einem Bremsklotz, einem Bremsenträger, einem Anschlagelement, einer Rückstelleinrichtung sowie einer Betätigungseinrichtung. Die Bremsvorrichtung ermöglicht ein Bremsen in konventioneller Weise. Weiterhin kann der Bremsvorgang dadurch durchgeführt werden, daß durch Betätigung der Betätigungseinrichtung das Bremselement auf die Fahrbahn abgesenkt wird. <IMAGE>
