[origin: CA2250256A1] There is provided a detergent composition comprising: (a) a detergent component selected from the group consisting of a builder and a surfactant; and (b) an amino tricarboxylic acid, wherein said amino tricarboxylic acid has rate of dissolution, such that in the T5O test method, described herein, the time taken to achieve 50 % dissolution of amino tricarboxylic acid is less than 100 seconds.
