Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19623104A1] The invention relates to a single-lever sanitary fitting with a mixer tap (11) to mix hot and cold liquid and regulate the flow rate, where the mixer tap (11) can be adjusted between an off and an on position via a control rod (10) connected to a control lever (8). To ensure that the single-lever mixer tap (1) can be turned on and off both contactlessly and manually, the invention proposes that an electrically controllable valve (14) be fitted downstream of the mixer tap (11), the operation of which depends not only on the switching signals of the control electronics (39) but also on the position of the control lever (8) of the fitting. To this end, the control rod (10) connected to the control lever (8) and the electrically controllable valve (14) are preferably mechanically couples in such a way that, on the one hand, the valve (14) remains closed despite corresponding opening signals, etc., generated by the proximity sensor (37) as long as the mixer tap (11) is also closed. On the other hand, the electrically controllable valve (14) opens even in the absence of corresponding openings signals from the proximity sensor if the mixer tap (11) is completely opened by the operating of the control rod (10).
