Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0905011A2] The chassis has two longitudinal struts with fasteners for a fifth wheel. The fasteners consist of apertures (34a,b) in the top (3a,b) of the struts (2a,b) extending across the full width, and holder elements, which are removably fastened to the struts. The apertures are circular or elliptical and formed or cast in the struts. The holder element is a bearing cap engaging around the bearing journal of a fifth wheel.
