Abstract (en)
To wind strip materials (1) into rolls (4), and change the rolls, it is fed to a winding drum (2) which rotates at the strip speed on a roll change. A winding core (3) is accelerated along the material feed path, to the material speed. The material is cut laterally near the winding core, to give a leading end for winding. The winding core is moved into the initial winding point (3c), and is rotated by the drum to start winding around it. When the wound roll has achieved a given size, it is moved into a second winding point (4a), where the roll is developed at the working winding speed. When the wound roll has reached its final size, the steps are repeated as the full roll is removed.

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln von bandförmigem Material. Eine Wickeltrommel (2) dient zum Aufspulen des bandförmigen Materials auf einen Kern (3). Wenn die Bandrolle (4) ihre Endgröße (4b) erreicht hat, wird ein neuer Wickelkern (3a) entlang des zugeführten Bandes (1) beschleunigt, und das bandförmige Material wird an der Wickeltrommel quer durchtrennt. Das neue Bandende wird an dem neuen Wickelkern angewickelt, bis er eine gewisse Größe erreicht hat, wonach der normale Aufwickelvorgang bis zur Endgröße durchgeführt wird. Während der Anwickelphase wird die fertige Bandrolle abtransportiert. <IMAGE>
