Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0905294A2] Tubes (25) are supplied to the flyer region (3) from the handling region (2) by conveyor trains (4,5) running along rails (30,30'). If faults are detected by sensors (11,12,13) the conveyor is reversed so that the faults can be corrected, after which the tubes are again conveyed into the flyer region (3). An Independent claim is also included for conveyor monitoring equipment (8) to provide signals to a control unit (10) which stops the bobbin changing process when a fault is detected and releases the conveyor when the fault has been repaired.
