[origin: EP0905335A1] The hoisting mechanism for a flagpole has a continuous cord (30) wholly within the integrated channel holding the slides (40). The upper (31b) and lower cord deflection rollers are fitted into the channel. Both sections of the cord pass through drillings at the slides, and each slide is clamped by eyelet screws to a common section of the cord. The roller bearings (32) are screwed to a lateral wall (11).
