[origin: EP0905437A1] The unit includes a hand-held lamp (1) with a fan-cooled xenon bulb (3). An optical condenser (4) focuses the light beams. A filter is arranged in a holder between the condenser and the xenon bulb. A power supply (8) is connected to the lamp by a cable (7) and includes a starter for the xenon bulb, a control unit for controlling the electrical functions, and a rechargeable battery (11).
