Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0905446A2] The burner plate (12, 38) comprises a single stainless steel sheet, which has flame slots within a collar (28) for each gas-air mixer unit (10). The stainless steel sheet (30) is laser-welded to the burner plate, so that the edges (50) form a grid of mounting slots for the mixers, and hydraulically formed to provide coolant channels (42). The mixers are free flow units and are separated from the combustion space by the burner plate. The burner plate has a ceramic coating.
