[origin: EP0905454A2] A ball valve (72) has a ball-shaped valve plug (90), by means of which the water exchange flow connection between the through passage channel (68) and the pressure expansion vessel can be cut off and in its place a connection of the expansion vessel with an outlet (132) can be produced. On the connecting fitting (10) a connection is arranged for the pressure expansion vessel which is crossed but laterally displaced to the through passage channel. The channel of the connection intersects the through passage channel. The ball-shaped valve plug (90) of the ball valve (72) locates in the channel of the connection and at the point of intersection partly extends into the through passage channel.
