[origin: EP0905955A2] Data is loaded into the telecommunications network terminal (TER) by a function set-up device (CS), e.g. a server. The server is connected to the network terminal via a connection (VL) which is parallel to the connection (VC) between the network terminal and a communication partner (CP), provided via the subscriber line.
