[origin: WO9833963A1] The present invention concerns a false twist texturizing machine as well as a method for texturizing synthetic threads to be implemented at the spots for treatment, comprising inside a false twisting area a twist stopping device, a heating device, a cooling device and a false twisting mechanism. The thread is drawn from the false twisting area using a delivery unit. The inventive twist stopping device may be driven by a conveying roller around which the thread is partially wound so that its delivery can be either throttled or loosened, thereby enabling adjustment of the thread tension inside the false twisting area.
