Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19712591A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve for fuel-injection systems of internal combustion engines, comprising two pre-assembled, independent subassemblies. A functional part (30) comprises essentially an electromagnetic circuit and a sealing valve, whilst a connecting part (40) consists principally of a hydraulic connection (42, 43) and an electrical connection (45, 46, 47). Once the fuel-injection valve has been pre-assembled, the electrical connection elements (33, 49) and the hydraulic connection elements (28, 43) of both subassemblies (30, 40) work together to ensure a reliable electrical and hydraulic connection. The fuel-injection valve is particularly suitable for use in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compression internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
