[origin: WO9749921A1] A rotor (1) for a turbomachine has blades (3) that can be inserted into grooves (2) which are inclined relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor. At least one blade foot (4) has at least two areas with different degrees of stiffness adapted to areas of the groove (2) into which the blade foot (4) is to be inserted and which preferably have the same degrees of stiffness as the corresponding areas of the blade foot. Also disclosed is a blade (3) for a rotor (1). The invention is particularly suitable for gas turbine compressors and strongly reduces local stresses in the grooves.
