[origin: WO9749493A1] The invention relates to a cutter (1) for garden waste or the like. The cutter (1) has at least one milling cylinder (4) co-operating with a freely rotatable, cylindrical counter structure (8). The two parallel cylinders (4, 8) consequently have such a mutual axial distance that the milling teeth (6) penetrate into the surface of the counter structure (8) and rotate therewith as a result of positive engagement.
