[origin: EP0908279A2] The machine has a cross-cutting blade formed as a circular disc blade (9). A dividing wall (13) is located at least approximately in the same plane with the disc blade. A radial gap (14) of small width is located between the disc blade and dividing wall. A waste product collecting device is located in the lower area of an intermediate chamber formed by the front wall (15) and dividing wall. The disc blade is formed symmetrically to its centre point and may have one or more individual blades (12).
