[origin: EP0908299A2] The press has a two-part cylinder, and at least one part (1,2) has a flange (7) projecting into the cylinder interior parallel to the longitudinal axis (3). A wear insert (4,5) inside the cylinder engages on the parallel longitudinal faces of the flange. The wear insert is held in the cylinder parts by fasteners (10), which prevent axial movement. A second flange (6) is formed on the other cylinder part, and one of the flanges contains a sealing element (11).
