[origin: EP0908314A1] The sheet handler in a printer is controlled by a cam follower comprising a roller (3) at the end of a pivot arm (2) displaced by a cam profile (4) on the print roller. For a positive tracking, without bounce, the pivot arm is linked to a control arm (7), via a pivot (6) and with the end of the control arm linked to the free end of a second pivot arm (13) which is spring loaded (12). The pivot (1) of the first lever can be the suction lifter for the sheets, or can control the axis of the lifting cylinder for the sheets.
