[origin: GB2323609A] In a double-facer, the glued corrugations of single-faced board 10 are bonded to liner 12 using dielectric heating provided by radio frequency electrode array 34. Microwave heating may alternatively be used. For pre-heating, the running board is pressed against hotplate 31 by fluid-filled, flexible vessels 32, or by flexible matting. Dielectric heating reduces the length of heater required.
