Abstract (en)
The rotational axis of the motor(5)-driven washing-roll (4) is parallel with that of the first cylinder (1) being cleaned. The washing roll's periphery (13) is at a first angle with the first cylinder, and at a second angle wit the adjacent second cylinder (2). Spray-jets (6,7) spray the cleaning fluids (8,9) on the washing roll which has a scraper (10). The motor s coaxial with the washing roll or beside the rotational axis of the washing roll.
