Abstract (en)
The insulated roof, with visible rafters, has a two part insulation with a relatively soft insulating panel fitted over the outside of the rafter and covered by strips of thicker, firmer insulation fitted over the top and covered by the tile battens. The strips are fitted between spacers on the rafters and are covered by a waterproofing foil before fitting the tile battens. The insulation is secured by ties through both layers. The edges of the roof have the waterproofing tucked over the edges. Both insulating layers are made of mineral wool. The fibres of the lower panel run parallel to the roof while those of the thicket cladding run normal to the roof.

Vorgesehen ist ein Dämmstoffelement aus Mineralwolle für die Übersparrendämmung von Dächern, insbesondere Steildächern, sowie ein Verfahren zum Verlegen desselben, wobei jedes Dämmstoffelement aus einem Kompendium aus zwei gleichlangen Teilelementen aus Mineralwolle mit unterschiedlicher Festigkeit gebildet ist, nämlich vorzugsweise einem Dämmstoffstreifen (1) mit hoher Festigkeit und einer Dämmstoffplatte (2) mit geringerer Festigkeit, und daß der Dämmstoffstreifen des Dämmstoffelements mit einer derart bemessenen Abdeckfolie (3) versehen ist, daß diese das Kompendium aus den beiden Teilelementen in Länge und Breite vollflächig überdeckt und an zumindest zwei aufeinandertreffenden Randkanten des Dämmstoffelements als Überlappungselement übersteht. <IMAGE>
