Abstract (en)

The pool, made with a supple wall (2) and an inflatable ring (3) round its open edge, has the upper portion (5) of the wall inclined relative to the remainder so that it forms a truncated cone acting as a support for the inflatable ring when the latter is subjected to a downward force. The upper portion (5) of the side wall is made from a curved strip of supple material, and it is inclined at under 70 degrees and preferably 10 - 30 degrees to the horizontal.

Bassin ouvert formant réservoir de liquide, notamment piscine, du type hors-sol à paroi souple (2) avec un boudin gonflable (3) constituant une ceinture flottante qui définit l'ouverture dudit bassin (1), caractérisé en ce que, en position d'utilisation dudit bassin (1), la zone périphérique supérieure (5) de la paroi souple (2) jouxtant le susdit boudin (3) est inclinée, par rapport à la partie restante sous-jacente de la paroi, en direction de l'intérieur du bassin (1), ce grâce à quoi la susdite zone périphérique supérieure (5) forme un rebord rentrant tronconique sous-jacent au boudin (3) et propre à soutenir le boudin (3) lorsque celui-ci est soumis à un effort dirigé vers le bas. <IMAGE>
