Abstract (en)
[origin: CH689177A5] The wheelchair (10) has a front cross member (12.1), two side-members (12.2.12.3) arranged symmetrically about the long central axis, and a rear cross member. The side-members are L-shaped with a vertical arm (12.2) and a long arm (12.3) at right angles to it. The cross member is positioned approximately at foot height and the rear cross member has an axle bar for a pair of rear wheels (18). On each of the vertical arms of the side members is an adjustable front wheel mounting (25) on which the front wheels (24), are mounted. The wheel mountings are angled backwards.
