Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0911180A1] The locking mechanism, for a lock to hold perforated loose sheets of paper in a binder, has fixed prongs and a curved prong (4) moved against them, linked together by a stirrup bar (3). Its swings on an axis (18) at the base plate (1), and is sprung against the opened prongs (4). The stirrup bar (3) is supported at the base plate by a tongue (17), with elastic distortion, bent out of the bar.
