[origin: EP0911260A1] The invention falls within the sector of aseptic filling machines in particular for flexible containers with a pressure cap inserted into a spout welded to the container. More precisely it refers to a filling head which comprises a sterile chamber (1) which contains a spout sterilization pre-chamber (20) into which steam is injected. The pre-chamber (20) contains a temperature sensor (40) for continuously monitoring the temperature during each sterilization operation. The sterile chamber (1) houses spout gripping means (8) and operating means (27) for cap engaging grippers (28), both comprising a positive cam, (13) and (29), respectively. <IMAGE>
